| Need to find a stud for my Pixie in So Cali Hello everyone, I have a two year old yorkie female (5lbs) who needs a mate in southern California. She's only been bred once before and it was accidental so I'm kind of new to this if anyone can tell me how the whole stud service works(?) . She should be in heat again in Feb. I think...Any advice would be much apreciated, thanks. P.S: I have a picture of Pixie on my myspace www.myspace.com/simply2sweet ---Linda a.k.a Pixie's mama |

| They way a stud service works is that you must pay the fee or sign an agreement of a puppy given to the sires owner. Before the breeding is to take place you must have proof of your bitch to be UTD in all shots and he a negative brucelosis test. Here are a couple of sites that have beautiful males for stud services. My girl is fixed but if I were to breeder her one of these males would really produces nice pups. Here are the sites www.courtashyorkies.com and www.myyyorkiebabies.homestead.com |

| I just saw the stud service fee at www.courtashyorkies.com and they want $1,000!!! That seems really expensive to me. Of course I don't have an ounce of knowledge about breeding so maybe it's average?

| Bad News(?) Thanks for the help..... there is one slight problem... my Pixie is only APRI (America's Pet Registry Inc.) registered.... does that mean I can only breed her with males registered through that in order to get the puppies papers? Sorry I really am new to this whole breeding thing lol
