| i give up....... im making my own i have been "interrogating" several of the members here about their harnesses that they use....... it seems that toby is "in between sizes" and it is driving me nuts.... those velcro ones that you guys all use are adorable, but my fiance will NOT walk toby if he wears one of those and i dont think the velcro will hold him (he is good on the leash, but he does pull once in a while when he is going after something that is being blown by the wind).... the 14" is getting small and the 16" is WAY TO BIG.... I went to the mall today and saw these GREAT harnesses that were stretchy and acted a little like a "halter top" for the head/ neck area.... and it had a piece running down the chest and throught the legs..... in the back it had an adjustable clip that connected to the halter top piece with a D ring in teh middle for the leash.... it was very DIFFERENt looking and i liked it, but....... of course....... WAY to small......... In an effort to find a harness that fits i have gone EVERYWHERE, but i give up...... i am making my own, (the same style that i jsut described...... the description is bad i know, but i will post pictures when im done making it) i was fitting toby tonight with paper so i can make my own pattern and he was just standing there being the perfect little "dummy" so i can get the measurements right,...lol... and when i needed to remeasure he was only to happy to oblige ..... thanks for all the feedback on teh types of harnesses i did ask about, unfortunatly none of them would have worked oh well, time to be creative |
