| She did NOT have surgery! About 12:00 the Secretary from the Vet called and said that the doctor did not want to do the surgery today. She said they did the bloodwork and it came back good... but for some reason she said the doctor said she didnt want to do the surgery this late in the day? (It was only 12:00) and for me to come get her and bring her back early Tues morning. ... and they will do the surgery that morning and I can come get her that afternoon... They arent going to keep her overnight?? Well I wanted to update everyone! I am relieved to have her home anyway!

Maybe he just wanted more time so that maybe there would be a chance you could take her home the same day. My vet let me bring our lab home the same day she had her surgery(spay) because she did well and was alert enough to come home. Same thing when Precious had her teeth extracted.

| Mine always want to do it first thing in the morning, too. I think they want more time to watch them before sending them home which is probably a good idea. Good news that her blood tests didn't showing any problems. Sorry, you have to go through a few more days of anxiety. |
