| How did you come up with your yorkie's name? TeeJay's name actually was supposed to be T.J., which stands for my fiance's first initial and my first initial. We decided later that "T.J." would look cuter spelled "TeeJay". I am interested in knowing how you all came up with your yorkie's name(s)! |

| letter B All my yorks have started with the letter B. First I didn't think about it. My first york's name was Bitteli (means tiny in norwegian), it was the breeder who chose it for us. The next one, his breeder name was Espris Virvelvind (virvelvind is tornado), so I called him Bajaz (means crazy). I thought that my next york would be named Bambie. And then I realized I used the letter B....and my brother owns Bambie's brother, and he is a U2 fan and called his dog Bono. So I think I will always try to continue finding names on B |

| That was the only name my bf and I could agree on, he hated all my cute names for her and I hated all his names. So finally we agreed on Lady, cause she did look like a little Lady when we got her |

| When we met with the breeder and picked out our puppy, she would call them all together "Come Here, Babies" so at 8 weeks she was responding well to Babies. When my wife started looking for a name for her new baby (technically, it's her pup since she was a Mother's Day present) she came across Bailey. She liked it and it sounded a lot like Baby - so now we have an adorable little Bailey (who will be 12 weeks old tomorrow). |

| Mine's sorta long.... We live in Jacksonville and I have the First Coast News website as my homepage. One day I saw one of the reporters had a blog about the twins she was pregnant with. The blog was about how they couldn't decide on names and her husband kept picking stupid names. The Jaguars football team is big here, and he suggested naming the children Jacksonville and Jaguar (i guess he is really obsessed with the team) or Matt and Jones after his favorite player Matt Jones. I was telling my boyfriend about this story one day and we started thinking about how Jackson would be a cute name for a son, and even Jax. About two weeks later we got our Yorkie. He has so much spunk and personality I wanted a lively name. I also wanted something with only 3 letters. I thought Jax was a good fit, plus it has that sentimental aspect to it since this is where me and my boyfriend fell in love. So I guess the name is short for Jacksonville.

| Millie's full name is Chamomile Sage. I am "all about the herbs". I grow them, use them and love them! So there was no question, my sweet puppy was going to have an herb name. I picked the name even before I met her. We call her Millie or Millie Sage. and the name fits! |

| When I first held her I said, "Look at this BABY!" So that's what I named her. I also named her Baby because I didn't want to be one of "those" people that named their dog something and called them something else. I figured I'd call her Baby anyway. WELL, I call her everything BUT Baby! LOL Usually I call her Poo Poos.

| I wanted another Yorkie, since my dear yorkie had just died. I could not afford another since they are so expensive now. There was a terrible "hail" storm on Good Friday evening that damaged my car terribly. The insurance paid us over 4000.00 for the hail damage. Guess who is gettin a new yorkie pup? And....her name is "Hailee".

| Love at First Sight! I purchased my male Artie, on the "Internet" and in the caption under his picture they listed him as Sir Arthur, so that's part of his registered AKC. name but I call him Artie for short and my ex-boyfriend was from Boston with a strong accent so he only responds to "Ottie". My female Princess Abigail was named after a Teddy Bear with the same name that I got from Hawaii, where I am originally from. I call her baby girl or mama for short depending on my mood? |
