names We named our baby Cash, because he cost alot of it. We named our new one Ryle its so hard to think of boy names. Girl names are so much easier and cuter. |

Sorry to add another reply but I hit the wrong key. So here we go again!! 11 y/o male Radar from MASH 3 y/o male Festus from Gunsmoke 2 y/o female Carli because mom likes it 6 week old male Gomez from Adams Family 6 week old female Morticia from guess what??? Right; Adams family. My husband named all the boys and I named Carli and ended up listening to hubby for Morticia. Needless to say we are yorkie nuts. Absolutely can't have just one.LOL |

Ramsey was pre-named by her breeder, but it's also my family name....Reese was named Reese cause it went with Ramsey....and Reggie...well he looked like a Reggie. :) |
We got Starsky in Hutchenson Kansas, Hince the name Starsky Hutchenson. My daughter named Shylah. It means "Goddess of Strength" Perfect for a little dog!! Plus she is quite Shy!! |
We named ours Sapphire because she was originally going to be a show dog. I was going to win the Sapphire necklace for my mom. :) She's not a show dog now though, it just wasn't her thing. |
I came up with a list of names that I really liked - male and female. It wasn't until I had the pups (even the ones I had years ago) for at least 2 days that I formally gave them a name. I tried the ones on them that I like and they stuck! Not a real glamorous way to pick them but the truth! :) |
I think we had Kaba a week before every coming up with a name. My husband and I could not agree on anything. We finally agreed that we wanted a Japanese name since she's a Japanese dog. We looked through Japanese/English Dictionaries. We knew we wanted sometime opposite (big, scary, etc.) and finally found Kaba and liked that it was short and cute. It means Hippo. So now I have my hippo girl! who is all of 4 lbs. If we get another girl her name is going to be Zo which Elephant. |

My yorkie who passed was named after a reggeton singer "Ivy Queen" (But it is pronounced Evee Queen, so I spelled it that way. :) ) After I decided to get another yorkie, it was either Sushi or Suri. So I picked Suri because it means princess. I had that name picked for almost 2 years! My breeder called her by that name so now she knows it. (She is 8 weeks old) Now my boyfriend wants to get a yorkie…that will be years down the road, but I want to name him "Favre", after Brett Favre formerly from the Greenbay packers, now the jetts. (My boyfriend is from Wisconsin:) ) |
I am a photographer, so my Pix is a short adaptation for "pictures" . I knew she would quickly be called Pixie, and I thought both names are cute for her! :aimeeyork |
My husband has always wanted a Harley motorcycle so he started saving for one. I have always wanted a y:animal-pa:animal-paorkie. So when the opportunity came for me to get a yorkie, my husband was generous enough to let me have his savings to purchase a puppy. Needless to say in appreciation to my husband, I named my yorkie Harley. |
My Tootie, his "name" is Bear... lol... He is my daughters dog(yea right) and she named him Hartley's Teddy BEAR... but once he came home, he was a cutey paTOOTIE... and it just stuck. He knows his name is Bear, but only when he is in trouble... lol My Hope, she was named by her wonderful breeder, Linda (lksdolls)... she was one of the last litter of Linda's dear Reggie(RIP). I fell in love with her as Hope, and that she stayed! Her registered name is: Reggie's HOPEful Demitasse of La." |
princess kona mocha latte one of my favorite bands is pepper and my favorite cd of theirs is kona town…princess has just been one of those for sure names that my first girl yorkie was going to have, whether it was going to be her name or just part of it, i knew she was going to be spoiled so it definitely needed to be in there :) latte was a name on my list of puppy names…one day when i was on the internet i saw someone had put mocha latte at the end of their dog's name...then i was sold on princess kona mocha latte “kona” family is not fond of the name kona at all (they think it is a boys name), but her name has meaning to me, and it gives her a little edge so she is not too princess-y and girly :D before i got her i was set on naming my first girl dog marley so they are lucky i didn’t go with that one…im sure they would have been annoyed :P |
