| Lily is here! My new furbaby is finally here! We got her last Friday - she is 4 months old, 4lbs 6 oz, just as sweet as can be! She is such a lover, cuddly and playful, likes to be held. I just love her so!! (And so do my kids and hubby!) We have a Siberian Husky and 3 cats, and they are all getting along pretty well. Our Husky and cats are outdoor animals, but Lily gets alot of exposure to them as we spend quite a bit of time outdoors. Lily is doing great sleeping in her crate and pretty good with the house training. She doesn't want me to be out of her sight! (I feel so loved )!!! I'm excited to get my C. Christensen brush and shampoo and conditioner. Her coat is kind of wiry feeling and very straight. Do you think this will be a silky type coat? The breeder said the mom and dad have the more wiry/silky type coat, as opposed to the soft coat that mats easier. I do plan to keep her groomed in a shorter cut. She is just a doll. I'll try to post pics sometime soon, but I am clueless as to how to do it just yet! All for now, just so excited, had to share! Julie and Lily |

| CONGRATS!!! Her coat will not likely be softer as it already sounds as it it has the texture the some Yorkies inherit. The coat is less demanding and it will not mat not will it grow long (if I am thinking of the correct type). I use mink oil spray and conditioner on my choc boy to try to get sheen in his coat but it still is sorta stiff and dry. That is because he is an off-color Yorkie-choc. |
