| Mine LOVE the pool..We actually can't keep Karlee out of it..She just jumps in. No problems at all..we taught all 3 of them where the steps were so they could get out on their own.

| Actually, I just received my two life jackets, one for nina and one for my jack russell. We go boating every weekend, and the current is very strong. Its very easy for little guys to get lost in larger waters.

| Oscar went for his first swim in the pool this weekend and he decided he liked it as well! I kept his harness and leash on him just in case but he swam away from the steps and back to them...natural born little fishy!

| We have a pool and just opened it and I was wondering if it is drying to their skin. And do you have to brush them because I would think there hair would get all tangled.

| Chance is 6months old and we have a lake in our backyard. For the first time last week Chance chased them into the water. I'm wonderinf if Chance will try it again. I was not around Hubby told me all about it. Remmy did this when we first moved into our house...which was in Jan. Needless to say he has not tried it again. I'm sure the water was COLD! |

| caution!!!!!!!! i have not seen it mentioned in this thread but i would like to offer a word of caution. There have been a couple of posts (long time ago, like last year) of yorkies that have actually drowned in swimming pools and one was in one of those fish pond thingys that people build. seems the hair weights them down. so watch your little ones very carefully. I don't have a pool but am thinking of getting a baby pool for them to use this summer. |

| Gus doesn't actually like the pool but he does know how to swim. He likes hanging out on the raft with me but that's about it. I do put him in once in a while so that incase he falls in he'll know how to get out. That's one of my biggest fears. That he'll fall in and panic and not know how to get out.

| Mine LOVE to swim! If they can get near a body of water- they are in it! The funny thing is they won't go out in the rain, don't want to get their feet wet, don't enjoy getting a bath... but they will dive head first into a creek or pond or even a puddle if it is big enough I just recently bought them life jackets to help keep them from getting too tired when swimming. They are only near water when I am with them, we have a pond on our property they love to dip in and when we go for walks sometimes we will let them play in the creek along the way. I have a baby pool for them to play in when in the back yard, but I haven't filled it up yet... maybe I will today- it is 90 degrees! |

| Abigail loves to swim! We don't have a pool we go the lake and you can't keep her out of the water we went this weekend and I put Summer in the water but she didn't like it too much. I ordered her a lifejacket so hopefully once that comes in we can get her more use to the water because we go every weekend and hopefully in a year or two I will be living down there !!!
