| Couple Questions for a newby Hey all A couple questions I had and hoped maybe you guys could help me. After my pup Baci is drinking water he kind of coughs. Its not really a cough though but its hard to explain. I am wondering if when he is drinking and is getting water up his nose cause this to happen. Has anyone heard of this or does anyones pup do this? Also, he has some little bumps inside one of his ears. It looks like balls of wax but I am not sure and don't want to touch it and hurt him. Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks so much for your help!!

| Welcome to YT! How old is your furbaby? I'm not really sure, You might want to give your Vet a call, that's what I would do.

| Hi and welcome to YT the coughing thing is totally normal, Georgie coughs sometimes after he drinks water maybe because they drink so fast and it gets up their nose. I am not sure about the bumps in the ears I am with Mustangbee take him to the vet to get it checked out. I do it just to be safe.

| It could be nothing to worry about and then it could be symptoms of a collapsing trachea. Go to this link and it will tell you how to distinguish between harmless reverse sneezing and trachea problems. If it doesn't take you directly to that page. Choose hypoglycemia on the left and then collapsed trachea. http://www.glassyorkies.com/ Can't help with the ears - brown wax would indicate mites. |
