I never heard about Grissley Salmon oil before I read about it on this
site. Thought it was a great idea so I asked my vet about it. He told me
it was not necessary and why take the change of adding more fat to
his diet because excess fat can easily cause pancreatitis in Yorkies. To
me it is not worth the risk. Just wanted to mention it.

Coco vets have always encouraged the use of it, just not excessively. They recommended it 3-5 times a week. I use it every other day or so and she's been healthy. It's a source of vitamins for them, not fat.
