| Puppy ? Lexi weighed 3lbs on the nose at 14 wks, she is now 18 wks and still only weighs 3lbs(not an ounce more). She is getting bigger but not gaining weight. I called my vet and she said that is normal she is just losing some of her baby fat and as long as she is growing and not actually losing wight she is fine. I trust my vet but wanted to get your opions, is this normal?

| It just goes to show you that you can never really know the size of a yorkie until they are grown. I learn somehting new everyday! Those are both unusual stories. |

| Well I don't care much about her adult size I'm just worried cuz she's not gaining weight. My vet said she would she her if it made me feel better, but as long as she is acting normal and not losing she is fine. I don't know if I should take her in or not. You would think I was a first time mommy right now. LOL

| Tia is doing the same thing. She's getting much longer, but not gaining weight. My vet said the same thing, she's growing out of her baby fat. I get an official weight soon, but according to my scale (weighing myself, then weighing me holding Tia) she is about 3 lb, 6 oz, up from 2lb, 10oz at 13 weeks.

| I was hoping on a 5 - 6 pounds Yorkie when Gioia was a puppy . She was big for her age , she end up to be 3 pounds 1/4 . |
