Yes another question about size !!! We have a local freecycle board where I live (freecycle.org i think) and there is a lady giving away a 4 month old terrier mix. She said that when she bought him she was told he was a Yorkie. BUT at 4 months old he is 10 pounds! Anyway she doesn't believe he is all Yorkie and thinks he is mixed. Now before I go any farther she has to move and can't take the dog with her. She hasn't posted a picture so I am only going by what she has said. Is this unheard of when it comes to a Yorkie?? Diesel was about 2 pounds at that age. Michelle

| There is an 18 lb yorkie on here so its not completely unheard of. He is going to be a larger yorkie.

I know there are larger Yorkies out there. But I mean at such a young age to be that big. I have never known of any a yorkie at that age be so big. Yes I have seen many Yorkies that are adults and full grown be that size and sometimes bigger.

Just curious how many here have or had a Yorkie who at 4 months was 10 pounds? Also if they are full grown now how much do they weigh now? This would be good for future reference . Michelle

I had this lady stop by the house when I was out doing yard work. She needed directions and she had her yorkie with her. He was HUGE. He had to have been pushing 25 pounds or more. I will also say that his feature looked more an Ausralian Terrier with Silky markings. He was still a cutie tho. Michelle
