| Most yorkies get this "gunk" in the corners of the eyes, its nothing to worry about but it is anoying as it makes them look unclean.I get rid of them by dampening the "gunk" with a cotton ball soaked it warm water, then I comb them out with a flea comb.It works wonderfully and makes them look fresh and clean again About the poop, could your baby be eating her poop whilst you are away? This would be completely normal if she is and would expain why your puppy doesnt seem to be pooping all day.Pups poop alot whilst the are young,Id say 2 to 3 times a day so it could be that the poop is being eaten and not that she is not pooping |

| My Bella is eating her poop. We bought "Deter" but it has only been 2 days, I am hoping it works as it did for someone on here that posts. I saw her do it, yelled no and then she started going behind the coach so I wouldn't see her and she could eat it. She eats the pill easily (it's a 1/4 pill based on weight) but no forcing her. You might want to try that. We got it at Petco

| shes never shown intrest in it, when she does it around me, she doesnt even go to smell it she just runs off to play, and its usually runny, so i would be able to tell if she had pooped and ate it.... she just waits untill i get home, and goes straight to the potty |

| Please ask your vet to check your baby's eyes to see if the naso-lacrimal ducts are open. They drain the excess tears from the eye into the nose just as in humans. If they are not open, when you have the dog spayed or neutered or have dentals done, the vet can try to irrigate them and open them. I do it as a routine. It is common for them not to be open. The gunk should be cleaned every day. If it is allowed to harden, it can pull the flesh off and form a sore. If that happens, use an ointment that is for the eye. I use a little eyebrow brush/comb-those freebies that you get in cosmetic promos. |

wow never thought of using a cosmetics brush and I have lots. Thanks what a great idea. At least now when I take her to the vet next week again I will have a name to put to what I am asking about. Instead of the thingy that is in her eyes making her eyes runny and getting in her hair.
