| I need a little help.... I have two female Yorkie pups (about 9 months old) and one older Yorkie-poo (6 years old). I just recently put a sunroom addition on my house and a dog door with small steps leading into an enclosed picket-fence area (about 10ftX10ft) that was in my flower bed, so there is no grass. I haven't put any mulch down yet, but have purchased the nugget mulch that is bigger in size because I was told there are no chemical in this. The dogs were using this area initially (for about a month), but have recently stopped altogether and I am not sure why. They just sit on the steps and seem to not want to even step into the area. I keep it cleaned up, but I am wondering if it is because of the urine of the older dog (she will still use it if I force her to go down the steps. She is dominant in the house. The pups prefer to go outside on a leash and they are still having accidents occasionally, but I am convinced they know what I want them to do. Does anyone have any advice? Any advice for a material to use inside the pen? |
