There are high chances that that's a purebred. When a yorkie has a long coat, it is hard to see the true shape of the head. Read any book about them and they will usually have a picture like that. It's just that the poor baby was shaved and looks like that. When the hair grows, she'll look like your baby.

you can't really tell unless you're getting an adult. sometimes the face isn't compatible to the standards for yorkies. it might have abnormalities or mutations.

I believe that Gazoe was speaking from show standard (but I cannot speak for her so don't quote me on that). While this york is precious, she has the longer muzzle and larger ears which is not what the standard calls for. She also has the lighter colored eyes that I've only ever seen in one other yorkie. But, let this baby's hair grow out and she'd make anyone a wonderful pet!

Her ears really arent that big, I try to get the best pictures I can of her. But you know how it goes trying to get them to stand just so.

You're right...some yorks and picts just don't mesh well together. I would NOT worry about it. The right person will come along and love her for who she is!

Thanks..I love the long hair but mine just love to play outside so much.
They play in the mud, in and out of the kiddie swimming pool, rolling around in things .. lol
It just cooler and cleaner to keep them cut down in the summer.
I think what threw most about the OP of the little female is they shaved her face hair, which made her look more Chi..
I think she will make someone a sweet little pet..
