I think I have posted this before. but here we go.
Ohio State Buckeye fans big time!

"Ahia Swate"
"Buckeye"
Ahia Swate Buckeye's "Tressie" (named after coach)
Ahia Swate Buckeye's "Archie" (heisman)

we had a woody & Oessue (OSU). but their names got changed by the new owners. drats!

I happily got to chose Bella's name because the BF and my daughter had chose the cats name (Sasha and Peanut) and Whisper we adopted so she was already named... So it was my turn.

I wanted either Ella, Elly, Emily, or Emmy and my BF kind of sneered at those but then I said Bella and he seemed fine.

Her middle name is Hope (that's what the breeder had originally named her).

Katy is named after Hurricane Katrina. I got her because my husband was gone so long helping down there. I wanted something good to come out the hurricane.

My son picked out 3 names, Buttercup, Chubby, and Nemo. He eliminated Nemo because it was a fish. On the way home from getting him, my son was eating a Reese's Buttercup and accidently dropped it and said I dropped my buttercup and that's when 'Buttercup' fell off the back seat and so we named him Buttercup.

I heard the name clementine. I loved it so when we decided that we were going to get a female I told my husband I wanted to name her Clemintine

He says...

"like the fruit? why don't we just name her apple or peach"

Just then my 3 year old son piped up and goes,

"Ya peach like Princess Peach off Mario Bros.(video game)"

I knew she would be treated like a princess

so we decided that was what it was

My first Yorkie name was Madison Grace.....Madison for Madison Sqaure Garden ( We love the Knicks and the Liberty so there home arena was appropriate) and Grace cause it was pretty.

Gracie got her name in a necessity meets cute meets coincedence kinda way.

The morning that we picked Gracie up we were watching Miss Congeniality and of course the main character's name is Gracie Lou Freebush and Madison's middle name is Grace so there you go! Gracie Lou..... ( other names that were tossed around were Becky and Abby)

When Gracie gets a sister I am going to lobby for the name Cameron ( after Cameron Indoor Stadium) and call her Cami

kirby is my husbands nickname.....he was (still does) vacuum all the time and he named muffy....unknown why. so my husband named both of my dogs (oops..our dogs)

Kobe - because we were Laker fans
Tyne - combination of my husband and sons middle name. Ty off the one sons middle name and ne off of husband and other sons middle name.
Birdy's lil rascal - birdy is nickname of daughter and he is lil and he is a rascal. Now I am searching for a little sister to Kobe and we have all agreed on a first name we just need to figure out the rest.

We had just gotten a Malibu boat. That and a yorkie are two things we had been wanting for a long time. So Malibu seemed appropriate. It's also just very cute and unique I thought.

We had a list of about 20 names..so my son and I took turns crossing off the one's we didn't want...It came down to Fagan and Toby..so we called my other son who was on vacation with his friend's family and we took a vote...We ended up with Fagan...something different... and it seemed appropriate..It's Irish ( we are Fitzgeralds) and it means "firey and small" ....

When my Ginger (she was already named) had her first litter, one of the pups had little white hairs on his chest. Whenever I would tell my husband something he had done that day, I'd say "the one with the white chest hairs". That got to be too much of a mouthful, so I called him "chest hairs". After I decided to keep him, I shortened it up to "Chester". His registered name is Chester N.M.I. Smith!

Well, when I lost my beloved “Raisin” I waited almost a year because I insisted on a girl whom I was going to name “Jasmine”. Out of a choice of 3 females, different breeders, 1 had hydrocephalus though seemingly healthy, while the other 2 did not survive. I was so devastated that I felt I could not wait another second, minute, hour, day, month, or year that when I found a healthy male with everything else I was looking for I totally conceded!

At any rate, since I had only girls names I decided on Dennis because he was such a menace! So he became my little “Dennis The Menace”. He has since calmed down a lot and is much like my little girls before him, though you don’t replace them you just love another!
