Seperating them is the best plan but I don't know how to do that for 3 weeks. I am going to get belly bands for the male (do they make them for 3-4 pound dogs?). The diapers haven't stayed on very well today.

When little Gypsy was noticed to be in her first heat for a quick fix my husband and I came up with an idea which worked good for us. We took a soft small cotton glove we had laying around and cut three fingers off (one mad a hole for the tail...the other two holes were for the legs) then tied the other two fingers together. Call us weird...we're into recycling. Ha! It worked great! Then...we used an odd sock and cut holes in it for a change. Not the prettiest of fixes...but she is precious looking to us regardless of her wardrobe...and it worked!!!
