| standard size of yorki i have did some research on it, but no satisfaction, any way i m sure here there will be some one who knows the best.according to some site the weight has to be 7pound[3 kg],and height has to be 12.5 cm[8 inch]. so is it true? what if hight is little more?for my boy this is his 5th month and he is now 12.5cm,so how big he will grow? |

| As far as I know, there is no requirement for height. Weight is to be 7 pounds or less, and body is to be square, with legs included. So in other words they should be as tall as they are long from back of the head to the tail. they are more interested in proportions than any set height or length. |

| U never know...????????? dON'T WORRY SOME yorkies grow faster than others and then stop growing and then again some take longer but grow larger...iT ALL DEPENDS...i WOULD NOT WORRY TO MUCH...

| You'll find yorkies in all shapes and sizes here at yorkietalk. Look around! There's also a thread somewhere about estimating adult size.
