| ![]() Aimee -- You are exactly right --- I hadn't thought of that, by the time you pay shipping of the fabric and materials, and then shipping of the outfit back to you, that would really add up! So perhaps those that sew would be willing to make others outfits at a reasonable price say $8 - $15 a piece or so + shipping (more for really complicated things)? Also, thanks for the link, I'm going to check out their site now. Did you like the items you bought from them?

| ![]() Marlee, That would be so great! I will PM you later about the clothes! That's so cute you make cat clothes too! Does the cat leave them on? I don't know if our cat Cocoa would even let you put them on her, but I'm sure my daughter would give it a try! ![]()

| ![]() I was looking for a simple dress pattern and was not able to find one, I have a dress pattern but I just didn't care for how detailed it was. So I bought this pink dress at target and then I traced the pattern onto paper and made the orange flowered one for Tinkerbell. It was extremely simple! I would also be willing to do some sewing for others. I sell dog clothes in my ebay store so I can get quite busy at times and it's slower at other times. It does get quite expensive to buy the material, pay for ebay fees and ship, that's why people have to charge more on ebay. I would definately not charge as much as my ebay store if they were purchased directly from me. Last edited by chloeandj; 04-13-2005 at 09:32 AM. |

| ![]() Yes, she keeps them on unless she can somehow wiggle out of them. She must figure it is a lost cause at this point though since as soon as Jewell notices she has no clothes, she puts another outfit right away. Funny thing is they almost look at you like ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Definitely sewing challenged here too. That would be awesome if some of you incredibly talented people could help us out. Even though my baby is a little boy, I would love to get some more things he can wear - I saw a t-shirt on one site (I forget where) that said "Bitches Love Me". I thought it was just adorable but at $20 plus the shipping etc. you get up close to $30 or so and since I just bought my house(where I could finally get my puppy) my budget is also rather tight! |

I would be willing to make this dress for you. Probably $10 would cover materials and shipping. I have enough fabric to make about 2 more of these. As long as your dog is under about 5 lbs. The hair clip is just a button that I attached to a rubber band. I think I even have another daisy button I could send you. Jodi | |

| ![]() I'm loving the clothes I got from her, they are stitched really well and my friend who sews says that they are well made. They did shrink a little in the wash, but I was expecting that. Sandy and Tia look really cute in their clothes from her. Tia also wears a lot of shirts from Build A Bear - about five dollars a piece and they fit her really well right now ![]()

| ![]() Jodi, I PM-ed you about Tinkerbell's outfit. Too bad we don't have a build-a-bear here in Lubbock. Our wal-mart has a knock-off build-a-bear area in the front that has the animals that you can stuff and clothes in it, I wonder if they would work? Has anyone tried those from wal-mart?

| ![]() I would be willing to sew some things for others but you have to give me some time first. I'm not exactly new to the sewing thing but am not the best. I started making quilts about 4 years ago or so, but the ones I made only had straight lines. My sewing is good enough for me (and my dog to wear) but I don't know about others, especially to get any kind of money for even if its just the cost of materials. Give me some time to practice with Reagan and maybe get a few more patterns then I'll let you know. Also I made a fleece coat like the one Reagan was wearing in the picture earlier only its light tan. Anyway its too big for Reagan. She weighs about 5 lbs and is 11-12" long(neck to talk). So if you think it might fit your dog I'll give it to you for free. It's just sitting around my house going to waste. Just let me know.

| ![]() Chloeandj-The dress turned out really cute. The puppy in the dress also turned out really cute. I don't have kids so I've never made any before but I wonder if doll clothes patterns would work, at least for strappy dresses(I don't know how big they are). Or baby clothes patterns at least for a guide. I know that the problem would be the arms sticking out instead of down but if its a sleeveless dress it should work. Also someone mentioned the shirts that said things. I think I've heard of people using like baby onesies and such you could try getting a pack of those and making you're own custom shirts with fabric paint and rhinestones. You could even tear them for a rocker look or put your pups own pawprints on it. I bet they would come out real cute and be fun too. You just may want to check around to see if I'm crazy or if people really do put their dogs in the baby shirts.

| ![]() Gosh guys I would be willing to donate anything to get Sydney some clothes, I don't have time to sew and some of the prices on clothing for her are really out there. Just let me know the amount and where to send it. This is so cool, wish I had time to take it up and try. Of course they would probably be not fit to wear. LOL ![]() Jodi that little dress for your baby is so cute I would love to have one for Sydnee.
