| Yorkie Beard Hi, this may sound like a silly question., But do any or your yorkies get their beards totally soaked when they drin?....Bailey's is dripping by the time he is done and it never fails that he decides after a long drink is the best time to fill mom up with kisses, kisses, kisses!.... One more question....this may sound weird but could someone post a picture showing their furbaby's tummy....Bailey was at the groomer for the first time about 2 weeks ago, but she didn't do his tummy. Every time he goes potty it runs straight up his chest....he still squats and has been nutered. I know how to trim it, I'm just not sure how high up his chest to go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

| Yes, they do! And I agree, they're usually flopping down on my lap right after they do, so I get just as wet. Here's a picture of Errol's tummy a couple of weeks after getting a haircut. Our groomer actually cuts the hair on their private parts very short so they don't make a mess when they potty. Then there's a circle of hair around that area that is cut to about 1/4" or so. Then it gets a little bit longer as it moves up their chest. Hope this helps!

| Thank you JeffJ....Thank you so much for the picture, it is exactly what I am looking for, now I can trim him up properly, and help his area to stay clean.

HAPPY AS A PIG in.......Um...MUD ? THAT IS ONE GREAT PICTURE - I swear - he's Smiling ! What a little cutie and WHAT A POSE LOL ! oh...and on to the other thing - YES - they love getting their chin hair soaking wet and kissing us...I think it's their way of getting rid of excess water lol - When the hair grows PAST that stage where it falls into the dish - it won't happen as much - my girls hair now hangs on the outside of the dish - Most of the time.... | |

| LOL...glad to see I'm not alone in the wet kiss department......hubby laughs as he says "you want a paper towel, or is he done yet?" ...lol....when our beagle was very small, his ears were bigger then him, we had to hold them for him or they would get into his food and water....I was thinking I may have to make Bailey a beard tail..??...or a pony tail on his chin, lol what ever its called....

| My pup even has the hair on his tummy cut much shorter - almost shaved to the skin. And - Yorkies aren't the only ones - all dogs with longer hair drip a lot after drinking - and even some with short hair do the same thing. Carol Jean |

| Snow Wa's Right about other dogs being dribbly My pooches have golden retreiver friends. And Dixie, my little Evil Wee, just LURVES! Merlin the retriever. And after he's had a drink is his favourite time to to give Wee extra loves, it sure makes for one soggy, bedraggled yorkie dog! But Merlin still loves her! We're not so keen of giving her yorkie hugs tho. EWWW! P. S. Errol that is an ADORABLE picture. I love the smile!~

| I use a big rabbit water bottle attached to his crate and Parker loves it. He caught on instantly. This keeps that area dry. It works out great. I heard this is what they do with show dogs to keep the fur from turning. Parker isnt a show dog of course.... But he wins best in show at our house. hahaha |

| Georgie's hair always get wet especially because his bowl of water apparently isn't good enough and he has to go STAND in his sister's bowl and drink it (She is a 75lb boxer BTW). I have to watch him close and wipe his feet when he comes in the house everytime so he doesn't end up drinking what he brings in from the yard Here is a picture of Georgie's belly and his jewels which will be removed next week (poor baby).

| Mac & Mellie are my little sponge mops. They are dripping after they drink. I don't have a picture but Mac's belly is very short. However, that still gets wet. Seems like he always has to jump on my lap right after to say Mom, Look what I just did....
