| finally playing Buckeye has never played. He is 5 yrs old now. we got him at the age of 2. I don't think he ever knew how to play. all I could get out of him was about 1/2 minute of play. (very occasionally). He was neutered about a month ago. He is now playing. Just all of a sudden started playing with Ahia. She plays rough. he will play for about 5 or 10 minutes before he has had enough and will then go under the chair to get away from her. Do you think the neutering had something to do with that? It has not changed his attitude about passers by. (still barking at them.) I am just baffled.

| I just had to add one more post on this....I am so excited! He is playing more and more every day. He has started joining in on the fetching. He has never done this before. It is like he has started his youth again. He has never played with his son & daughter. And Ahia is loving it. After bing spayed, Ahia simmered down. I am going to give the credit to the neutering for Buckeye's new found behavior. Sorry..I just can't get over it.
