Puppymill Rescue Sorry I posted this twice. Also in for sale and wanted but figured more people seem to chat here. They have several yorkies for adoption and seems like transportation is available for out of state adoptions. If not maybe some could help with donations, ebay auctions they have also. http://www.puppymillrescue.com/dogtoadopt.htm

Just a warning...Be careful what you look at on this sight (the puppymill pictures at the bottom) I feel like I need to throw up and I can't stop the tears... Thank you for posting this site. Those poor babies need loving homes. Last edited by chloeandj; 04-11-2005 at 10:17 PM.

pet shops This is such an important thread. When anyone buys from a pet shop this is the type place they are supporting. I realize it is so tempting to want to give that caged little Yorkie a home, but we must remember the ones left at the mill who produce those poor creatures.

i'm the type of person that always avoids things like that. i knew that it was a terrible thing and they do terrible things to those poor innocent puppies but as long as i didn't see it, it wasn't reality. but one day i got on a puppymill website and it broke my heart and make me mad as hell i wanted to bring every single one of those dogs home with me. i think maybe alot of people are how i use to be, they know what goes on but can't stand to look at it. i still live at home and we have 3 dogs so i can't get another until i move out but ever since i visited that puppymill website i decided that the next dog i get will be a rescue i know adopted one dog one do much but atleast that's one dog that will get the life they deserved.

I totally agree. I have 3 yorkies I got from a breeder. I want to get more, but I decided that my next dog(s) that I get will be from a rescue center. I just can't believe how people are at these mills. It just makes me angry as hell! SO ANGRY AND FUSTRATED!!!!!!

I know a lady I've been incontact with from NBC. I just wrote her a letter asking her if they have ever done a show on there about puppymills. I told her they there was a petition sent to Oprah and there was no responce from her cast. So maybe just maybe she will be able to get a show up a running. Many Thanks, Teri BowWowCouture.com Last edited by TeriTiny2; 04-12-2005 at 09:00 AM.
