| Mine has got to be the worst story of all. Malibu was only 4 months old-it was around Christmas. I was standing up on the brick in front of the fireplace hanging a pic. I looked over and he was sitting by the back door, made one adjustment to the pic and stepped down right in the middle of his body and with pretty much all of my weight because I was stepping off the step!!!!!!!!!!! He yelped but then he seemed fine but I cried for hours and worried for days-there could have been internal damage or something. I felt like the worst mommy ever...but he is ok now. |

| Yes and I felt so horrible. I was dressed up and going out and had on heeled boots. I stepped and heard a major crunch - right on her little paw. She cried and limped but was okay in several minutes. The Yorkie shuffle now prevails as she is always where I am and around my feet especially if I'm preparing food!

| Not in a long time but the first week we had Tatum with us, my nephew jumped off the bed and landed on Tatum's foot. He must not have got a direct hit because it surely would have been broken if he had but it was enough to make Tatum cry for quite some time. Luckily we were headed to a fish fry at my grandma's church and our vet showed up there. I talked to him about it and was reassured that she was probably fine but to give him a call in the morning if she wasn't. She was good by the time we got home but it was a close call. That very well could be why she shys away from those boys whenever they're around. They're not allowed too close anymore.

| When we first got Tucker he used to wind in and out of my feet like a cat. I walk with a cane and have a balance problem and I swore he was trying to kill me! He gets stepped on all of the time, thank God he is 9 pounds or he'd be squashed! It doesn't help that he has to be where I am. If I move from one couch to the other he stands up and follows me. (and I love it!)

| Looking at the posts I saw JillandJack and thought, that can't be right, I didn't post that. Duh! I am Jackand Jill, Jack is my Yorkie. I guess we both think the same. Nice to meet you. And yes, I have a couple of times stepped on Jack when he was really small, but was not hurt, he gets out of the way quicker, he is now 18 months old.

| Poor little baby... I know the feeling. It has happened to me a few times. I need to be more careful. Thank God I haven't really hurt her, but it still hurts me.

| They get real good at staying out from under feet when they've been stepped on a few times. Ollie now gets out of the way. Chachi still has a few mishaps to go. It's their only job, 'Stay out from under my feet." |

| Bridget used to love to curl up at my feet when I'd be sitting at my desk (on YT of course!). I rolled my chair back and nipped her paw once. She yelped and my heart just dropped. She was fine, but geez... scared the heck out of me! Now i just sit on the couch with my laptop and she curls up on my lap. She knows how to work me huh? |

| I don't step on Twinkie too often, very rarely..... what usually happens is her getting slightly kicked. She has a tendency to walk beside you/infront of you in the house & then will randomly cross in front of you, right in front of your feet, so then she accidently gets a bit kicked... more like pushed. She never gets hurt, but sometimes if she gets it in the nose I will hear a yelp.... I always feel sooooooooo bad & for some reason she hasn't learned not to do it.

| I took Wosie outside with me while I was watering my flowers. She doesn't get outside all that much as we have lots of tics and I hate them so I don't let the girls off the deck much. So of COURSE she went completely bonkers, running, jumping, and rejoicing... RIGHT under my feet and YIKE YIKE YIKE is what I hear after becoming off balance from trying so hard not to put my full weight on her toes, poor little baby!! But she was immediately fine after giving me a "what the heck did you do THAT for??" kind of look!!
