| Hi from Upstate NY I have my first Yorkie after seeing my sisters. I have had many dogs most of my life, I also have a choclate lab that my son is watching for me since she does not like other animals that are new in the family, so he has her with his golden and their two cats. Casper is the first small dog I have owned other than a poodle when I was very young so this is new to me. I find they are a lot more loving and want attention, Casper loves riding with me and if you mention taking a walk you better be ready cause he has his head in the harness before you can blink. He turned 4 months the 10th of April and all ready seems to be adapting well. Potty training is still a problem at times but not bad. We have found that he is afraid of men and it took my boyfriend 2 weeks before Casper would go to him at all and that was after a friend of his stupidly took him off my lap un be known to Casper, then Casper took to who ever he knew and it happened to be my boyfriend. Since then I can leave him with him while I work. I got him after his heart operation to keep him company when i had to go back to work. And things are going very well. Hi everyone. |
