| potty training male vs female I am sure this has probably been asked before. But I couldn't find it in the search and sorry to annoy any of you by me asking again. Is a male or female easier to potty train or is it just up to the dog?

| I don't think sex makes a difference except for the marking that the males do when they get older. |

| I would agree I think a lot just depends on the personality of the particular dog. I have 2 boys Ted was a BREEZE with every thing we taught him. Now Toby is a completely different story. If I had gotten him first I would have thought good god boys are hard, but knowing otherwise makes me know they are just as individual was people are in their learning habits. Neither of my boys mark either.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | My females were and are a lot harder to train than the males. Just this morning, Gracie wet on my living room floor for NOOOO reason! She hadn't done that in months. Rebel was fully potty trained at 5 months and have only had 1 episode of marking in the house (he is not neutered and will be 1 year old next month). When I got the doggie door he was 4 months old. He started using it right away and has been WOOOONDERFUL with it. London is A MESS! Especially here the last week. She's gone back to doing it whenever and wherever she pleases.
