| ok i have made another try at it and i think i got it now. it fits in the car fine.. i went into the dollar general store and got this stuff. i don't know if you can see it or not but i drilled holes in the bottom piece in front and put macrame cord in for loops to put the seat belt though. i was truely in the store for 5 minutes. quick choosing. and cheap! Buckeye has plenty of room in it and Ahia will be just comfy. (i hope) i used an old travel pillow this time. i will cover it so it don't look so raw. i am just proud as all get out of this accomplishment. you got me into gear! this has become an obsession with me now. LOL redfrog , i think i will probably have the same trouble with my two. I think probably you got to be firm and not give in and they will soon get used to riding in it.

| I don't give into her. I'm more scared of her in my lap than her crying. My truck is a moving target. I have been hit 7 times in the past 10 years ( 2 times deployed the air bag). Not a single one my fault. I'm afraid the air bag or my body would crush her. I just want her to be safe, weather she likes it are not. |

| Redfrog! I know exactly what you mean! I make it very exciting! Let's go! Yea! Let's go for a ride! ETC! I took her everyday just to get use to it. I keep a bag of treats near me, so I can reach over and give her a treat the minute she stops whining with the words, Good Snoodles! Believe it or not, she gets so excited to go, and then the minute i get on the street she also starts whining. For some reason, she whines when we are going some place, but when we are coming back, she is fine! Go Figure? SOOOOO, We now go a few blocks, stop the car-- get out--get back in--and then she is fine. Are they stupid or smart like a fox? Haven't figured that one out yet! Ha! Ha! Pat |
