| I'm placing Daisy Mae I am really sad today. I have made a decision to place Daisy. I don't know if many of you are aware, but I have decided to start breeding and have been doing loads of research and working with a mentor. Well, Daisy does not fit into my breeding program. Although I had papers on her I don't believe that she was full bred. She was definately not breed quality. I thought about keeping her as a pet, but I just don't have the room to keep babies that won't fit into the program. She was already 7.2 lbs at 5 months. I have placed her with my brother and sil who have a JRT. They love him tremendously so I know that Daisy will be spoiled rotten. I'm just having a hard time with the decision right now because my kids were in love with her and she was a good size for them. I never had to worry about them playing with her. She had started following me around the house and sleeping at my feet and such.. She was becoming attached. I know that as a breeder I will have to face placing many babies once they no longer fit my program, but I sure hope it gets easier. Any advice from you breeders out there would be great.. Did I do an awful thing??? |

| I'm so sorry. That must have been a tough decision, but fortunately you were able to keep her in the family so you will be able to see her. Good luck on your breeding. I'm planning top get started in it also as soon as my babies are old enough. |

| Aw, Lynn Honey, I am so sorry to hear that! But I completely understand. It's not as though you and your family will never see her again. She's such a honey, and I am so happy I got the chance to meet the little wild woman. I hope she does well at your brother's.

| I am sorry you had to part with your pup but at least she stayed in the family and you and your children will get to see her from time to time. Good luck with your breeding program.
