				   | Wad, do you have a cozy bed or blankets in with her, she needs to stay warm also. They are used to having a lot of body warmth. In fact mine burrow under the covers, you would never know they were there.

				   | I have two blankets folded onto eachother that I hope she decides to sleep under. I think I may be worrying way too much about her. I hope she doesn't cry too much tonight. Wad |

				   | The fact that you're coming home to check on her twice is great!! Make sure you know how much she's eating because it's hard to tell with a handful of kibble in a bowl how much is eaten. Maybe the nutrical licked from your finger each time you leave to go back to work is a good idea just in case she hasn't eaten much when you were gone. The first week when we got our baby shih tzu and I needed to crate her I took one of my daughters small stuffed animals (took off the eyes) and put it in the dryer for a few minutes to warm it up..then put it in the crate with Georgia. I would always find her all snuggled up next to the stuffed animal ( which was the same color as her littermates, don't know if that means anything). She now sleeps with it at night in her crate. I check it frequently for tears, etc. Anyway good luck with your new baby. You will work and figure things out as you go along!! |
