| As I posted before, Monday and Tuesday did not go well. Both days Maddie peed all over the back room that I had blocked her off into, and destroyed a few stuffed animals and pee pads. So today, my husband decided to keep her in her crate - low and behold, she didn't pee in it! This just proves that she can hold it, she just chooses not too. But I hate having to crate her for 9 hours. Unfortunately, I'm a nurse so I can't leave the hospital at lunch time to come home, and my husband works 1 hour away. But maybe we'll have to just keep her in the crate for a little while, and slowly expand the area we keep her in. I didn't realize that they made reusable pee pads, so I will definitely have to get some. I really hope this will work. I have felt so sick over the thought of giving her up, but it's extremely frustrating to have her pee right in front of me! Thanks for all your advice, and I will post pictures soon of my little girl (who is not all that little compared to most people's yorkies - she's 12 lbs!) |

| Glad to hear that the crating worked and that you are giving it another shot! Be patient - she'll get there. Good luck! Quote:
