Wavy hair??

Otis has wavy hair on his body, but on his legs, he has thinner fine hair that turns to tiny ringlets when his paws are wet. It's really quite charming.

I have two yorkies - Sebastian has really thick cotton coat, but the longer i let it grown the straighter it gets, but on his head it is silky and smooth.

Sweet Pea has a VERY thin coat but the longer it gets the more cotton it gets....

However, his hair is not "straight" --- it is quite wavy (I like it this way). I am just wondering if a "silky-haired" Yorkie can have "wavy hair" --- or is it supposed to be "very straight?"

I think also -- if his hair were longer - it might be straighter. Right now, his hair is about an inch or a little longer all over.

As his hair gets longer, it will pull out straighter with the weight of the hair. I'm sure it will be fine, but even a little wave can be common as they tend to lay on it and give it creases like we do our own.

Dezi also has wavy hair and it does not get matted. I am noticing (she is 4 months now) that on top of her head her hair is getting straight and silky texture.
