Otis has wavy hair on his body, but on his legs, he has thinner fine hair that turns to tiny ringlets when his paws are wet. It's really quite charming.

I have two yorkies - Sebastian has really thick cotton coat, but the longer i let it grown the straighter it gets, but on his head it is silky and smooth. Sweet Pea has a VERY thin coat but the longer it gets the more cotton it gets....

Dezi also has wavy hair and it does not get matted. I am noticing (she is 4 months now) that on top of her head her hair is getting straight and silky texture.
