| Starting Daisy on Clomicalm tomorrow... I talked to the vet, and I told her all about the anxiety issues, etc....and we discussed a few options. One was one of those pheramone (sp?) diffusers..but they're a little expensive to maintain. We talked about a collar that emits the same thing, but they were just released this week, so id wait before trying it (and they're expensive too) then we talked medicaiton, and she mentioned Clomicalm. Its very reasonable and she says she's had success with it after a few weeks use. Its a daily med, but thats ok. So Im going to start her tomorrow, and see how she does. The "test" will be in 2 weeks when Joe and I go away for 4 days and she's here with the boys and my parents! Anyone ever use this?

| Sorry, I haven't used it. The vet gave me something to give Bonnie when we flew to calm her, I don't remember the name of it. It just made her sleep. What kind of anxiety issues does she have??

| My employer's dog (a tibetan terrier) is on clomicalm. Apparently she use to have lots of anxiety issues. She chased cars, bikes and people. She is a meelow dog now and it seems to work for her. |

| Tell me more about what kind of anxiety your dog has. My pup at 6 months shakes uncontrollably everytime we go out or go somewhere unfamiliar. For example, when I get ready to put the harness on him he gets all excited and jumps around. Once it's on he get shy and SHAKES. He'll sit by the front door and just non stop shake. Same thing in cars. He also does not socialize with dogs at the park but LOVES people. Does this mean he has anxiety?
