| ![]() it is not a good idea to put a pee pad in the crate...you want him to consider the crate (and then eventually your house) his den and not a place to "go" |

| ![]() Just got here myself so welcome from another Newbie. Great site and there are a lot more experienced opinions here than mine, all I can say is I have owned many different breeds of dogs but 3 years ago when I got my first Yorkie i have never had such an affectionate pet and close friend. She goes everywhere with me even to work.

| ![]() I love the name Wrigley! Reminds me of the gum and the famous familt that used to own Catalina Island! My breeders both gave me crates with my puppies as well as food, a carrier/purse, a couple of toys, nuti-cal, written instructions, a "free" vet visit etc. It is called a "puppy pack" and I think this is common with the best breeders. As for riding in the car, some of the carriers can be hooked to the seatbelt and they actually have carseats for dogs. This is what have for my peace of mind and their comfort! I love it. |
