| Question regarding 2 yorkies. I am thinking of getting another yorkie for Starsky to play with. Starsky just picks on my beagle who is older and larger and just puts up with the picking although I don't think he likes it. If he can't play with the beagle he will pick on us and we play for awhile until we run out of steam. If I got another yorkie do you guys think it would keep Starsky busy or would we just have to entertain two constantly. I want to get another puppy as long as Starsky is still young (1 year) so he won't be such a grouch to the new dog. I know I definitely will have jealousy issues. Put from reading on here you just have to give the older dog more attention. Please give me you input. Thanks!!!

| Having 2 would be the best thing you ever did! At first you wont be able to leave them alone together until they start getting along really well! But it wont take long and they will be best friends! And no you dont have to entertain both of them, my girls play together costantly! I do play with them everynight but other than that they keep themselves entertained all day! Good Luck and I hope that you get a new baby soon!

| I have two yorkies and they keep each other entertained and I dont have any jealousy issues. One is definitely the alpha over the other though.

| Since Bo is almost 10 and Duncan is 1 Bo wants to veg out alot more than Duncan. Last nite while Bo was napping Duncan bothered Bo until he got mad and lashed out at Duncan. Duncan squealed so I pulled Bo off. This morning Bo was being real loving towards Duncan. Never know with those two. In this case I think it helps that Duncan is almost 3x bigger than Bo. But I do think age can be an issue. Now might be a good time since Starsky is 1 yr plus he seems pretty easy going. He put up with Duncan for two hours and that is a real test. Cathy |

| I have two and I wouldn't have it any other way. When I don't have the time...they have each other. I never feel bad about leaving them alone because they can keep each other company and they play for hours together. Two is fun!

| Two has been GREAT for me! I work from home, so they keep each other amused during the times that I have to be working. I don't mind leaving them home alone because they play so well together. You will not regret getting another one. Your puppy will love you for it! Who wouldn't want someone of like kind to play with all day?

| I would get another if I worked or wanted my dog to have another friend, besides me. It's tempting b/c they are all so darn cute and I love puppies. but for me one is perfect. |

| Wow guys, thanks for the info. I wasn't expecting ALL positive. You are really convincing me to get one! Now I just have to convince my husband. I found a breeder and she has a litter due at the end of this month. I am supposed to call her the first of May to see if there were any girls! Keep your fingers crossed! Maybe buy this summer I will have a new addition.
