| I am so proud of Chloe! Chloe used to have nothing to do with going back to the laundry room while running loose playing. Only when she was confined with the baby gate she would use her pad. Yesterday, I let her out to play around the kitchen and dining room. And each time, she stopped while she was playing and ran back to her pad. And peed and pooped each time she had to go on it. She had only a couple of accidents yesterday. Today, she did good again. Consistantly going on her pad while playing. Peed and pooped on it. Of course, I heavily rewarded her and she gets a small treat. She knows the word treat now and knows what she has to do to get it. She loves her treats! This is a big step forward! I am so proud of her! If we don't catch when she poops right away, however, she will try to eat it. The forbid that the vet gave us did not work much at all. She is far from being totally housebroken, but it is getting a little bit better.

| Yes - your pup is doing great! But she's still so little. She'll be able to hold her urine much better when she gets older - and won't need to go the bathroom nearly so often. This helps a lot too. Eating poop! What can I say - just get rid of it as soon as you can. My dogs never did that - but one of my dog's really got into the litter box whenever he could......same thing - different poop! Good Luck - Carol Jean |
