| sire brown and white dam yorkie coloring?? I found a pup the sire is a brown and white color with a long nose and the dam is yorkie coloring The sire and dam are registered AKC?? How??? |

| Brown and white sounds pretty strange. I'm guessing it is a recessive gene and it would have to be on both sides for the pups to be that color. Any purebred dog can be registered because they do not require pictures. however it could not be shown with those colors. The sfad fact is, a lot of mixed breeds get registered as purebred because the breeders lie about the sire. But chances are if yours is not brown, it won't turn brown. |
