I love my Boston Terrier, Buckeye. Bostons are notorious for being hyper dogs, but Buckeye is calm and snuggly. He's never met a stranger either. While I love my yorkie Tank, there are days when I wish he had the snuggly personality of Buckeye.

I love all breeds and I grew up with quite a few dogs (we had lots and lots of acres..). When it comes to small breeds I love Yorkies (of course) and Cocker Spaniels. I actually prefer the larger breeds and my favorites include German Shepherds, Alaskan Malamutes, and Great Danes. My husband and I are actually getting a Great Dane this summer (yay!) and another Yorkie sister for Schatzi

| I like almost all dog breeds. I am not particularly fond of Pugs because the ones I know leave a lot to be desired. I am also not too fond of Chihuahuas because the ones I know are very nervous and are yappy (maybe because they were poorly bred- I don't know). My favorite breed is Labradors. The only thing "wrong" w/ a Lab is that they shed too much. I love Boston Terriers, Danes, Bull Terriers, Bichons and Maltese, too.

I love Poms. I had the best 3/4 pom 1/4 chi mix forever. RIP She was great. Before then we had a toy poodle. Great, smart gal. RIP. I loved the weiners, and the golden retrievers, sweet greyhounds and basset hounds, BUT I'VE HAD THIS THING CALLED A "YORKIE" FOR 6 MONTHS AND ALL I HAVE IS YORKIE IN MY BRAIN!! I don't know if I can turn back...

I really love my English bulldog, Lily, so much! She and Bobby (my Yorkie) are getting along GREAT now. He just had to learn that she really did not appreciate being pseudo-humped every 30 seconds, LOL. She's really sweet and loving and the pushed-in face and wrinkles are SO cute! I love collies, too, because they are beautiful, super smart and very dignified. They take a LOT of grooming and shed like crazy, though, so I don't think I'll have another. Bulldogs are pretty low maintenance. You just have to make sure their ears, tail pockets and wrinkles are clean. They don't like to exercise, either, LOL. Julie

My favorite would have to be my pug. Pugs are just great and after we brought Bailey home 2 of our neighbors wanted one. He is just so loving, they were bred for companionship, so they will love anyone. I think they are the perfect family dogs. They aren't like some dogs who just pick one family member. He also rarely barks and when he tries it is so cute. It sounds like "roo roo roo rooh rooh!" He is a big homebody he will stay with you off of a leash and has no intrest in leaving the yard. We took him to a dog beach last weekend and 90% of the time he just sat right next to me unless another dog got too close. He was easy to housetrain and I just love his porky little body shape. Maybe yorkies will be my favorite again once Brandy becomes housetrained, barks less, and listens to me better! We will see.
