baby03 | 04-29-2006 07:54 PM | Am very grateful that Tasha has made a full recovery. I have had 2 instances where my baby has scared me to death. First she ate a grape. She began to get lethargic and vomit. I took her to the emergency vet hospital. After having an iv and fluid injections and 2 bloodworks run on her she was allowed to go home. She got over that. Then on thanksgiving 2005 she got up to go outside. I always go with her if she's not going with her poodle sisters. I was outside with her when I heard her squeal. Like she was in pain. I went to her but she kept shaking her head side to side and she looked like she was chewing sideways. I called her name, but got no reaction. I panicked and tried to pick her up. At that point she ran to the back door to go in. I let her in and she went to her teepee. I picked her up and there was froth on her mouth. Took her in. No fever, but they never figured out why she had a seizure. TERRIFYING for me. Thank God she hasn't had it again. I am so glad that Tasha is now okay. Her continued recovery will be in my prayers.
