| I have one female and I chose a girl because I did not want to deal with the marking of the house, I chose her for her personality. But now I have a boy too and it has not been bad, he does good. My girl is my heart because she was my first, by my boy worked his way into my heart from day one. They both are mama's babies so....there you go, I have two shadows.

| My yorkie's a girl. We wanted a girl because our other dog is a male and we've always had one of each...never really thought about why |

| i've got a little boy. he's a single furchild. i decided on a male for a few reasons...financial: males are cheaper to purchase and cheaper to neuter; worry: neutering is less invasive than spaying, less worry for me; personality: i just loved bunjee's personality when i first saw him, he was curious but also cautious, shy but not fearful, friendly but not bouncing off the walls hyper. |

| I have two females (Ruby and Bella). I chose to get females because the whole male marking thing turned me off and I'v always had female pets growing up. I'v just always loved female dogs.

| i have a boy....and the reason is because they didnt have any girls like i had wanted so i went and looked at him and couldnt resist him....i have always had girl dog all my life because of the marking the house and hunching everything but to be honest the girl boston terrier i had hunched everything also (not sure why).....but now that i got him i wouldnt trade him for 100 girls i love him to death and he is the sweetest and smartest dog i have ever had....he was completly pee pee pad trained at 9 weeks and so far has never tore up anything in the house he only plays with his toys and chews his bones...this week was the first time i have left him out while i am gone and i was worried he would have mistakes in the house being he had never been alone out of his crate but he did GREAT not one mistake off his pee pads and not one thing chewed up in the floor he even got a tissue from under my hubbys chair and took it on his blanket but didnt tear it up or even chew it...sorry about the babbling but i am just sooooooooooo proud of him lol....but to be honest about what you ask i think boys and girls both are sweet it is just all in what you prefer you know |

| I have a little boy furdarling- I picked a boy becuase i've allways had boy dogs growing up and that is just what I'm used to. His little heart stole mine right away. I get up everyday to take care of him and love him. He's the best baby! hehe! I'm sure everyone on here feels the same- aren't we lucky?

| We have a sweet little girl. We both just feel more comfortable with having female in the house. We are thinking about getting another puppy down the line and we know we want another baby girl. |

| Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I have my one and only Lex who is very much a boy . I had my eyes set on a female that the breeder had but she was too much for my pockets. While looking at pictures of the pups my little girls fell in love with Lex. Originally my girlfriend was supposed to buy him but when she went to the breeder she ended up buying the female that I had my eye on. Anyhow it worked out for the best. Lex is a sweetie and so affectionate. I wouldn't trade him for the world.

| I have a girl yorkie. Originally i got a girl as i though i might let her have some puppies.....BUT then i changed my mind and got her spayed as i think its best left to the pro's who know what they are doing. My other dog (a lab) is a boy and i wanted a boy for the very opposite so i didnt have the worry of puppies
