Indiana Date Change!!!!
 

Ok, Since several people are really wanting to make it and cant, and since we don't have alot of people coming yet, We are going to try and change the date. Here are 3 options, May 27, June 3, June 24. Please post which date would be best for you. I can change the shelter date if I let them know asap. This will be the last date change. Hopefully more will be able to make it. We do have flyers out and if anyone responds in email that they are coming then I will explain the date change. Let me know if this would be better for all. I just want a desent turn out. If anyone wants to volunteer to contact places and sites on yt for donations, feel free to. Let me know if anyone wants to do that. NC did it and got alot of stuff. It looks like there meet up is really coming together. My goal for our first meetup would be to at least have 15 families for more. Thanks for listening....Please post back asap!!! Have a Great Day

I wasnt thinking May 27th is Memorial Day weekend, not a good date, people have too much planned on this weekend!!!!

Ok guys, I pretty much suck!, I checked my schedule Lauryn has volleyball tourney June 3, June 24 she has a cancer walk. and May 27th is the memorial day weekend. Here are some other dates May 20th, July1. I guess I should have check my schedule first (duh), Sorry I'm terrible at planning this.

pretty much anytime is ok with me except the holiday weekends they are to hectic, but could probably do it if thats what everyone decides to do.

July 1st could be considered a holiday weekend because the 4th is that tuesday.

I PMed you and said I could make it July 1st but I might not be able to because we usually have a family reunion that weekend.

I think May 20 would be best, July may be to hot for are babies.

It will be May 20th as long as Park has a shelter. I'll try calling on Sat. they may not be open til mon. I'll let u know

Does anyone know if the Indiana Meet-Up is May 20th or not? I haven't seen Denise on here for awhile. She was going to contact Eagle Creek yesterday, have I missed the post? Hope we can get this going, NC sounded like they had a great time!

I tried to call Park on Sat. the office that rents the shelters wont be open until Monday. I'll call first thing. Yes the Date is May 20th. (as long as shelter is available.) We will know on Monday for Sure.. Sorry I 've been on all weekend. I've been at a volleyball tournament for 8 hours today.... What a long day!!!! I've gotta check out the post about nc meetup. Maybe we can get ideas. I"ll post as soon as I hear from the park. thanks

oK, I called this morning and switch the date!!!!! Come one - Come All the Great Indiana Yorkie Meet-up May 20th @ 11:00 - Whenever.... Bring covered dish or two, your own drinks and of course... your family and your yorkies!!!! Meat and plates, napkins, silverware will be furnished!!! Dont forget about the Yorkie fashion show and be working on those super pet tricks (of course they probably wont do them when you want them too) If everyone could be repost flyers with new Date. RSVP to Denise517 by May 15th. Dont forget to send in your personal infor sheet if you havent already. attach pictures if possible. Lets all to our best to spread the news. I know everyone has emailed but lets post exactly who is coming so i can get another count. This will be so much fun. Hopefully the weather will be nice (No Rain) I'll also have a few games for kids, etc to play let me know how many kids you have and the ages. We want to make them feel involved. There is a playground area by the shelter house, walking trails, etc. Also dont forget yorkie gift exchange. If we have a small number coming then I think it would be fun to have puppy pals. That way we could be more personal with the gift. (boy, girl etc.) Let me know what you want to do if you have more than one yorkie. I know it would be costly to buy exchanges for each one. Let me know how you want to do that. Any other ideas. Do I have a volunteer to come at around 10:00 to help set up and get things ready with me??? If you want extra lawn chairs and xpens bring them. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME!!!!!!

I can't make it May 20th I have a wedding. Maybe next time.

I'll be there with husband, son (15) and my four babies, maybe five if I still have one puppy left. I can come early!!!

I'm about 3 hours from indy so i'll be there as soon as I can..hopefully in time..I'm not fond of getting up at the crack of dawn but will try to leave here around 8. I'll let you know for sure tonight..so if it's defenite i'll post here and pm you denise ok..

OH MY GOSH I forgot my new baby Dante..yes he will be with me too..gosh i feel like a bad mommy now..lol So basically it will be 2 females and a male ..the rest won't be considered in anything cause they are too young and they won't technically be mine..

Denise, on your post you said plates, silverware and napkins were going to be furnished. On another post Missy (I think) made up a flyer that everyone could print out, telling everyone to bring those items. Maybe that will save you time and up front money, if we bring our own dinner ware. What d'ya think?
