| does camera flashes hurt dog's eyes? i have a pretty bright flash nikon camera that even hurts my eyes....i was wondering......does it hurt dogs even more? any scientific proof and etc? thanks everyone =)

| I don't know about scientific proof but you know how bad flashes hurt your eyes it has to be rough on their eyes too. My babies see me pick up the camera and look away. we have been through it too many times. They look at me as if to say " you know how much I hate that!"

| I would think that if it hurts our eyes it most definatly hurts theirs. the poor dears. I don't know about scientific proof but I mean, it hurts our eyes and animals are supposed to have more sensitive senses so more then likely it does hurt them to an extent.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I turn mine OFF and take lots of outside pictures - my girls HATE the flash on the camera we have now...I think it's brighter than the one I had a few years ago. |

| thanks for the input; i won't be using that camera no more. (nikon coolpix s1) i've looked over and over the manual, that thing can not take a picture without flash(it blurs)
