| I'm obsessed with Yorkies I won't even have my Yorkie until this weekend, but I'm obsessed. I'm constantly on YorkieTalk, reading books, showing her pictures, talking about the dog. My kids are probably feeling neglected due to their mother's new love! Any of you have the same feelings? |

| Yes. I am sick. I read Yorkie books instead of my school books and pull people at work over to my computer to show them pictures of the Stew.

| Totally! I used to get so annoyed when my boss constantly talks about her two daughters - and now I can't stop talking about my Mason and people are like "you're talking about a dog...???" |

| Everyday my breeder sends me a new pic of Rylee, I print it and run around the office showing everyone, then I hang it on the fridge. I got new pictures of my son yesterday, brought it in to work, put it in a frame and there it sat. Once I realized this, I took the picture to show everyone. But still, it's bad. I'm sure my work wants to kick me. |

| i was never really a dog person. my husband has his bernese and the kids love him too death. my husband had always wanted a big dog and had always had yorkies. i think he could tell that i was not impressed with a big dog so he started talking about how special tako was and how much his mom who wasn't a dog person loved him. he said yorkies were not like any other dog out there. well he was setting it up to bring home my sirius. well i am soooo in love with sirius now and could not think of life without him. the kids thought at first that i loved him more than them. they know differant now. sirius goes everywhere with us and he is only 12 weeks old. the hardest part was telling my husband he was right. by the way now my daughters want a girl for themselves. |

| My good friend Teri reminded me that not long ago, I said "I'm just not a dog person." I researched and bought the perfect family pet BUT she has become *my* dog in such a short period of time. I've even taken a leave of absence from work because I hate to leave her at home alone, even though I work part-time. My boss tells his clients that I'm on 'maternity leave'. |

| ...maternity leave...that's cute. You're lucky to have such an understanding boss. Yes, I'm Yorkie obsessed too, although I have 2 "human kids" and a husband and an 8 year old Schnauzer. I have to remind myself not to make over Bo and ignore the rest of the family!! BTW, kraekerr, where did you get the adorable avatar??

| I was obsessed before I got Pita and I didn't even know where my dog was coming from! It got to the point where I couldn't think of anything else... I HAD to get a lil yorkie and nothing else was going to satisfy that craving! My problem was convincing my husband! Finally he gave in and now I'm just loving her sooo much. I thought maybe the reality wouldn't be as good as the fantasy, as sometimes is the case with obsessing on things we can't have, but that's not so with Pita!! She's everything I thought she'd be and more!! |

| I don't think I'm obessed. Just because I wanted 1 yorkie and ended up with 4, does not make me obsessed. Okay, just because more than 1/2 of the things in my house belongs to my yorkies, doesn't mean I'm obessed( did I tell you I have painting, prints, and drawing of yorkies on my walls). So, maybe I do carry a purse with yorkies on it, my watch has yorkies on it, even my checks and credit card has yorkies on it. I have my yorkies on my computer screen saver and my background. At work, I have ton of pictures of my yorkies but none of my family. It still doesn't make me obessed. And when I go on vacation, its usually a dog show or dog related event(haven't taken any non-dog related trip for over 3 years). So I don't know why people think I'm obessed. |
