| Hi New Member Here Hi I just brought home my new Yorkie pup (Gator) last Friday and I am really glad to find this site. I'm sure I will have lots of questions and will post pics soon. I do have one now, what is the formula I read people using to determine how big their pup will be? Gator at 9 wks was 2lbs 3oz. Chris and Critters |

| Hello, it's triple the weight at eight weeks and double at twelve but it doesn't mean they all follow it. Gus was off. Welcome to YT - ask away and we love pictures

| According to the growth chart he should mature at about 6 pounds, but like everyone has said it's only an estimate. |

| Thank you all for your warm welcome and the information. Gator has been home a week now and is such a doll. He plays well with my Cairn and my Westie is warming up to him, slowly. Gator is facinated with my fids and will run up to check them out when they coast to the floor. We are having so much fun with him. I am going to check past post to see what has been asked. Thanks again.
