|  Picking my yorkie up tomorrow!!! So i'm picking up Diesel tomorrow..so excited. Any last minute advice/tips on easing his transition into my home???? |

|  You can take a blanket and let his litter mates lay on it and play with it for awhile so their scent is on it. I would also recommend letting your pup rest as much as you can cause your baby will be tired and scared. You can also put a stuffed animal in his crate. I know it seems harsh putting them in a crate but actually he will learn to feel safe in it. It's like their own little space and comfort zone. Oh and CONGRADS ON THE NEW BABY..

| Welcome to YT. The place where you can obsess about your Yorkie and no one will think you've gone off the deep end.  Advice for new parents Put karo in the water for a while to keep sugar level up in case he doesn't eat much at first. Think of him as an infant, not a dog. Congratulations!!! Can't wait to see pictures. |

| Congratulations! I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you as I won't be picking up my puppy for another three months or so (if all goes well). But what everyone else said is great advice! |

| If it's a long trip bring some water. I agree with Tashasmom - let him rest, don't overwhelm him (with people coming over to see him or if you have kids). Congratulations.
