Yes she WAS a beauty! I am right there with ya!

I got my license at 40 yrs old, and rode my Honda Twinstar 185 for a couple years. Then I thought I was a BIG GIRL now, and bought a BIG bike for me, a 650. Same thing happened, put her down in my driveway, hurt my elbow, my confidence, and scratched the bike up pretty good. THEN everytime I tried to ride, I would get a panic attack, which I had never had before. No good. Scared my hubby to ride with me. Sold the bike and I bought a Miata convertible instead, and then a few years later, bought a Kawasaki Eliminator (love the name, lol) 125. I have tried to ride again, but I just can't get my confidence back. So that one's going in the newspaper this spring!

I love riding on the back too! Just think! If we didn't ride on the back, who would hold the pups??

Let me chat with my hub about it and I will get back with you!

Girls before you sell off your beautiful bikes, concider one of these new gadgets. My hubby was at the Toronto Bike show and came home with the information on the conversion kit. I have vestibular damage in my ear and it really effects my balance, and he thought this could be a possible solution for me to ride once again. Anyhow check it out.

Very nice !!!!! that is what i'm looking for, i want to get a honda, shadow first to learn on - something lighter and less expensive then i'll work my way up, i'm sick of being the passenger, especially in the summer time, Mike works late hours and i'm off at 3:30 in the afternoon, i have tons of friends to ride with that will watch over me until i get the hang of it,,,, but it's so hard when its 90 outside and the bikes a out and im stuck home

You would have loved my Sporty then! It was definitely a ladies bike! I bought it from a gal out in Oklahoma and sold it to a gal from Indiana. She loved it too! I hated to sell it, but my confidence was so shaken that I just did not want to try anymore. Plus the way my hubby felt...he just could not think of enjoying his ride for worrying about me. If I had been about 20 years younger, I would have stuck it out and learned to ride that bad gal! But at least I get to ride with hubby!!! Hope you find what you are looking for! Have fun and be safe!!!

We got the "DOGGLES" on ebay because I could not find them small enough at Petsmart, but they do carry them. Oscar wears the x-small and he is 7 pounds. We got a seatbelt harness at Petsmart, the one that is nylon and fleece that you use in the car and rigged it up where it will hook to my belt buckle so he won't fall off! He can hear a bike crank up and he goes nuts! Good luck taking Wosie...I bet ya'll have a great time!
