| Left Hanging A week and a half ago my breeder told me she would email me updated pics and she still hasn't followed through. I didn't ask for new pics, she just offered them. I emailed and asked about the updated pics a few days after she promised them, and she said she would have them soon. Then, three days later, when I still didn't have any pics, I emailed again and got no response. Its two weeks till puppy pickup and I'm beginning to worry that my deposit just disappeared and that my puppy was a figment of my imagination. Am I just being a spaz? If someone promises to take pictures, is it reasonable to expect to see them within 10 days? |

| It is a reasonable amount of time... Sorry that you are not getting the pictures. Maybe there are personal problems with your breeder at home, or maybe she is having computer problems. I hope it's nothing more than that... Good luck! Let us know how things go!

| Why don't you call her? I would hope that you have her address and phone number --- since you will be going to pick the puppy up. Carol Jean |

| Reasonable yes, but there might be a good reason. Actually I am going through the same thing right now. He is supposed to be picked up on the 27th and the lady that I am getting him from has not been able to contact the breeder to make arragements. She has not been able to get ahold of her for a couple of weeks. And we also have not received pictures. Maybe we're talking about the same breeder. Welcome to YT. keep us updated on how things work out. |

| I have her phone number and her address. I even talked with her vet before I sent my deposit and did a reverse phone number lookup to make sure the number she provided actually was to a vet office (I know - paranoid_. Her vet gave her puppies great reviews and even has one of the breeder's puppies herself. I really tried to do a good job of checking my breeder out and she really seems like she's on the up and up. It's just awkward. I don't want to bug her - I just wish I knew what was going on. Should I email again? Should I call? When should I? I don't know how much "bugging" a breeder considers reasonable. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | She has your deposit, I would call her tomorrow morning and leave a message that you would appreciate an update on your puppy. She could be having computer problems so i would call. Good luck!

| Just call her and tell her that you emailed her, and when you got no response you started to worry. You are just so excited about your new baby that you can't wait to see updated pictures of him, and you were just worried that maybe she was in bad health. This will tell her that you are a caring person, and that you are very excited about your new baby. If she wants to be a breeder, then she has to be willing to deal with the people that are buying her pups. Don't worry about bothering her. Thats her job!! |

| She sent me the pics today and he's even cuter. She was just busy with her family. I planned to call her Monday if I didn't hear anything, but I'm glad it worked out. I can't believe this puppy already has me twisted up in knots! What kind of trouble am I going to be in when he actually gets here! |
