how come every darn time i go through the process of grooming and making them pretty, the have to get down and go rub faces and heads and make a mess out of the pretty bows i just put in their heads???? never fails, i will finish with one, start the other finish that one and the other has the bow out. i have tried to talk to them, we have had this conversation, mommy wants you to keep the pretty bow in your hair, but no, no cooperation........

yep, same thing at my house...they even team up to help get each others out while I'm trying to do whoever's next...sigh...now I'm just happy when they're all clean at the same time..for about 5 minutes.

Gracie will actually have Max (my cairn) lick her head until the bow comes out and her nice clean head is a wet, sloppy mess. I wonder what kind of deals were made to get him to do this; almost EVERY time!!!!!

Hahahahahahahaha, I haven't even tried bows or barrettes yet -- the minute I have Bobby brushed and looking great, I swear he gives me a grin and then shakes and rolls around on his back. He looks like a hobo much of the time! Oh, well. I'm just happy he's so playful and happy!

Gucci's bows dont last long either. She paws at it or rub her face until she takes it off.

LOL...I can relate. As soon as I finish Maddie and put her down, she does her donkey kick (kicking her back legs) and then starts rubbing her head on the floor. It is rather comical! LOL

Mini not only rolls but takes her paws to it and if she gets it she will try to chew it up! the worse part is i am trying to keep the hair out of her eyes and when she does the drop and roll technique ..there is no fire ..just messy hair again in her eyes .

Mine does the same thing. I only put bows in her when we are going out now. I will clean her up and do her hair then I don't put her down for nothing!!! It is very funny watching rub her head and run around the house like a mad dog....only when I don't want to go somewhere.

I gave up the top knots and bows a long time ago.

well at least i am not the only one, my husband likes when their hair is down. he calls it their punk rock look. i can't stand it though, it looks like they can not see, not to mention eye infection, but they just don't care.....
