| I was just reading in a training book yesterday is that digging is a sign of boredom. Take your dog out for a walk and get rid of some of that energy. They say you are not supposed to let the dog see you filling the hole back up! It's just what I read in a book - not my opinion.

| We go for a 4 mile walk everyday as well as play with the ball endlessly. I think she just likes to dig. We have a lot of sand in the back yard. When we went to the puppy park this weekend she was digging there too. There was some holes started by a mole or something. She had the time of her life trying to find them. Maybe I have some at home too. Quote:

| My Tinkerbell loves to dig, she will dig on anything, the couch, bed, clothes anything she finds. She also loves to hide her treats in her imaginary hole...lol She will take her treat and "bury" it and then come sit and look at me and ask for another one to hide...lol she is sooo funny. She uses her nose to cover her treat she hides stuff behind the couch or any spots she likes |

| I have to buy chewys by the big bag so each one has one to bury anywhere where the others won't find it, mostly in the corners of the chairs sofa, or under the blanket. But I also have outside diggers. This is Tucker, he dug a hole about 12 inches around and a good foot plus deep. The ground was wet and this is what we got.

| Heehee... Bella is a digger too. Usually the comforter, or the carpet and occasionally when I take her out for a walk, she'll dig a cute hole in the ground. |

I just got a mine Yorkie 2 weeks ago and been wondering why he keeps trying to dig in the house. I haven't seen him do it out in the yard yet, but he sure loves to dig the tile, carpet and in his crate.
