Brushing their teeth? How often do you guys brush your babies teeth. I've been doing it just once a day, is that enough or do I need to do it more? Just wondering.

Yes I do it at night, and after I brush their teeth...I put this other stuff on their teeth to help with plaque. Can't remember what its called...2 of my 3 don't mind getting their teeth cleened, but the third and the oldest one hates it, but they all love the toothpaste I got from the vet. James

I got a packet from my vet that came with a poultry flavored toothpaste, and two brushes, one that looks like a regular brush, but smaller, and one that goes over your pointer finger. That's the one I use and I try to get all of their teeth, especially the ones in the back. They are the hardest! But they love the toothepaste, I think it tastes like chicken or something. James

My vet suggested that to start I just use a piece of nylon like from panty hose. He said to wrap it around my finger and if I do that for a while until they're used to it that later on he would hook me up with some toothpaste and stuff.

Mine get their teeth brushed about 3 times a week, more often if I have the time. Once a day is great!
