| Showing a preference I just wondered if your yorkies show a preference for you or your significant other? What type of things does he/she do? Our first Yorkie prefers my husband over me.(he was supposed to be my dog!!!!!) Our new girl seems to prefer me but shes a little young to know for sure.

He also CRIES and whines like no other when i leave to go to work, when my fiance (aka daddy) goes to work toby couldnt care less, he doesnt whine at all.... i think his preference is pretty clear (he also wont really listen to his daddy, only his mommy.... something we are currently working on) |

| You guys thats so sweet!!! I want that!!!!! My Chachi is all dads boy. The sun rises and shines around when he comes home then he does not listen to me at all either just his dad. I hope my girl will be my baby. Right now she is clingy but she is also young.

| When Sully was a little puppy, he showed a HUGE preference to me over my husband. In fact, it was to the point that it made my husband sad that he would only come to me and when I left, he would sit in the house with Eli, my husband, and whine at the door for me!!! Now he's nearly 8mo. old and is much better balanced. I'm still his "person" but he also loves Eli and will come when he calls him too. We're just nuts over Sullly...we don't have any kids so he's our "kid".

| Well, Sophia is my dog...flat out. My husband is not a big fan of lap dogs and although he admits she's cute, doesn't really have too much to do with her. Sophia always gets excited when she sees him though, and I say "Sophia, don't like him!! He doesn't like little dogs!" My hubby thinks that is pretty funny! (I say it in a sweet voice, she has no idea what I am saying of course.) Sophia also gets VERY excited when she sees any one of the kids or the cats or the big dog. She is just very social and loving in general. But, she definitely likes me best....as if she had a choice!! (She was my Valentine's Day gift afterall!)

| Without question, my dogs love me most. I'm home 24/7 so I think it's only natural that they would. Tia actually doesn't really like my husband much and tries to avoid him, which we are working on. If my husband makes the effort, Sandy loves him to death. He just doesn't have the time that I do to devote to them

| Definately me! Yeah! But of course, I am the one who feeds, bathes, and plays with her and dotes on her. She does the same thing. Whines and cries and runs from one door to the other and up on the couch to look out the window if I leave! When he leaves, she will jump on the top on couch and watch him until he is out of sight, and then it's okay! Pat |

| I think Tommy is a mommy's boy he goes with me everywhere and I am home all day, but if I have to go to the store and he has to stay home he gets mad he will whine..lol And sleep on top of the couch.(He is sooo cute.) If we doing something he don't like (like make a loud nosie or something he gets mad and sticks his nose up in ther air and go pout for a few hours and nothing we do can change his mind about being mad,I laugh so hard at him.. He is the best...
