| Yorkie Visiting Boston... We're going for a quick trip up to Boston on Monday (staying overnight) and are bringing Chewie with us.. Would love to know some fun places to visit with him while we're there! We're staying in the South End - and have never been to Boston, so any help would be much appreciated! -Christina and Chewie the WonderDog |

| South ENd is "THE PLACE" for dogs!!! You will find a wonderful bakery on Shawmut street and.. a dog store.. (not the actually dog) on Union Park Street in South End.... There are trendy restaurants, and some outdoor places.. so I bet that you can eat outside with your dogs!!! If I can think of something... I let you know..!!

| Too bad we missed the Meetup I was reading some of the posts about it - and it would have been nice to have some other Yorkies to play with... Chewie doesn't always like the poodle, mastiff, and beagle-esque dog across the street! Looked into the Polka Dog Baker and sadly they are closed on Mondays! Hopefully we'll be able to stop in on Tuesday before we drive back! |

| We made it! Chewie had a blast in Boston. We didn't get to do much on Monday night - because it was just too cold to tolerate outdoor activities! We did get to drive around a whole bunch and saw lots of Boston sights! Chewie and John hung out together today (tuesday) while I was at a conference and they went to Polka Dog Bakery and spent a lot of time on the green. Polka Dog is FANTASTIC! Chewie, the world's pickiest treat eater, LOVES their treats! We wound up going back later, after I was out of the conference, and we splurged on T Shirts for us, and a fabulous little sweater for Chewie along with a polkadogbakery lunchbox for Chewie to take when he's "visiting" his buddies. Regardless, we're ready to come back when the weather is warmer. It was so fun to see a real dog park - and I sure wish that the big dogs weren't all out running inside the fence - we would LOVE to have Chewie off-leash in a confined area for a change... We're going to have to find somewhere around here where we might have that opportunity... However, Chewie tried to take on a Westie on the street, so we figured it was time to take a break from the other dogs! We're all passed out on the sofa now, Chewie has pee'd on just about every pole in Boston, and from the look on his face, plans on sleeping the rest of the night away! Keep us in the loop if there are any more Yorkie meetups in Boston though - we're up for a weekend trip! Michiko - thanks for your tips! Maybe we'll get to meet up with you next time! Nice restaurants.. and of course, Polka Bakery. I love that place. Even I don't have a yorkie yet... that is where I buy some fresh bakery and treats to all my dog friends. yes of course.. we should meet up next time!! Who knows I might have a yorkie by then Michiko
