Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() You asked about Chanel smiling - I love this story - ! My husband was in the hospital in March..I was in and out all hours and Chanel (who is always with me) was a little stressed not knowing when I was gonna put on the DREADED SHOES ! Anyway...when I would get back - I made MORE of a big deal out of it than usual...a few days of me acting like a total fool cause no one was here to see it but her and Tessa (my cocker) ...I guess I was Cheesin it big time and I swear I saw her smile, and I said that to her! After that - every time I would get back - I'd say it over and over and she began to PULL that TOP LIP UP !! I =d be on the floor laughing! Also - when she'd be trying to smile and would do a halfsy..I'd be yellin "Elvis in the HOUSE" ! She'd be bobbing her head - doing that one lip curl (Like in the PIC) and SHE KNEW it was funny - Now - all we have to do is tell her - "DO YOUR ELVIS" ! or "LEMME SEE YOU SMILE" and she does it for us ! I LOVE MY BABY CHANEL !!! Thank you for letting me share that - Besides kissing - it is her One and only actual TRICK ! edited - PS - My husband. who was in the hospital, didn't believe me and let me talk about, it but was like "Right Villette...she really smiled...uh huh... I swore up and down it was for real - when he got home - Was he in for it !!! Didn't Believe ME ? HA ! Now he is the one always trying to get a good pic of it - he took all the ones I posted !!! oh and she gets kind of tired of him always telling her to Do her Elvis !!!

| ![]() Look at all the precious faces of your little ones.....could there be any cuter dogs in the world????? I love the hats, sweaters, etc....but oh my.... it's the faces that capture my heart....Darling, Darling, Darling No wonder we are all in love with them...sorry that there are no pics of Max....but I am barely computer literate....have a digital camera still in the package ![]() ![]() Thank you for all your kind words about my illness....I failed the treatment...but am doing ok with alternative methods at the present. I have a better quality of life now and am positive about the future no matter what it holds. I hold each day of my life as a gift! ![]() I think Max has been my therapy dog. He has comforted me when in pain....licking the tears off my cheeks, laid down near me when I tried to sleep, eased the back ache with his little warm body and provided companionship during the times of loneliness. As a retired RN...I now recommend yorkies to others going through similar situations. They are really intuitive and suited for therapy. |

| ![]() Wow! That is a great story Villette. Amazing that your Chanel can do that ON COMMAND! I think I need to yank on Yoda's gums to make him smile bigger. His Momma smiles wide, but I just grin, and Yoda is more like me in that sense, I guess? :P |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() Saw your post about the cell phone - Gave me Flashbacks ! I think I posted this a while back on ANOTHER site and I really hope I don't bore anyone - its kinda wordy !! Sorry ! But, now I know I am not nuts !!! I called Chanel from the middle of Walmart one day - just called and asked for her and of course my husband held up the speaker phone for her - Well...she just started CRYING and running around - Course - I'm in the medicine isle at WALMART, feeling like a total mean mom for making poor baby cry unnecessarily - so...I decided to try to snap her out of it with her favorite song !! Which Is...by the way The Village People - It's fun to stay at the YMCA ! Our words are - It's FUN to STREY at the Y.M.C.A - She LOVES me to sing that to her and will dance around and in general, we just act silly - but she REALLY knows that song...I just say "It's FUN"...and she's hittin it ! I look around - its pretty quiet...I start singing...... "Young man...theres no need to feel down - I SAID YOUNG MAN - PICK yourself off the GROUND..I SAID YOUNG MAN - CAUSE YOU're in a new town...There's - no - need - to -be - un-hap-py ----DA DA DA - IT's FUN TO STREY at the YMCA - I'm kinda looking around - still singing and bobbing MY my stupid head like I'm on stage or something... I quit after those few lines and asked my husband did that help ? and well - No it didn't .....she wasn't dancing, though she wasn't crying anymore....and I wasn't alone !!...there were 4-5 employees of Walmart behind this shelf and one by one...they start peeking at me ! One guy is walking in circles holding his stomach ! I'm feeling like a TOTAL IDIOT and said like hey..." What can I say - It's my dogs favorite song" ...(all I want to do is get out of there) - I can tell a few didn't speak English - but they for sure knew I was singing to my phone - I am now laughing my butt off - cause I can't believe Trying to be cool - but not suceeding....I walk away and look back and told them - this is no lie - "Besides - That it was LIVE BY REQUEST !! The guy holding his stomach was the only one knew what I meant ....I think ! I left without shopping and took me a month to go back to that store ! I still haven't bought asprin there, but Chanel was the HAPPIEST acting Yorkie when I walked in the door amd that made it WORTH IT ! By the Way - WE STILL sing it at least once a day ! Now Cherish, the baby, is learning to dance along with Chanel ! Whew - That was long even for ME ! |

| ![]() Hahah, red98vett, you have the MOST interesting Yorkie stories! I can't believe you confess to some of them! Hahahahah.... Do the Elvis, YMCA, badass biker chick, and RAP SONG too? Geez! Such diverse stories and styles! Nothing wrong with spoiling your baby! I haven't seen one Yorkie that wasn't! I think a lot of people roll their eyes when we tell them our Yorkie stories, but inside, I'm sure they're all just jealous! ![]() |

![]() ![]() Also, Friday, I [the one who spoils her too much!] was out all day and Papa was home with Toto. Even though I checked on her throughout the day ... one time talked to her on the phone [Patrick said she listened intently and then just started slowly licking the earpiece where my voice was coming from with a sad look! ![]() ![]() ![]()
